More Splosions

I should probably start with a disclaimer. I never finished the Splosion Man. I worked on it a while but I'm just not good at platfomers and eventually gave up. I enjoyed it but it was just to hard for me personally. That out of the way I'm really enjoying Ms Splosion Man. I have not gotten a single par time yet but I've been able to complete every level I tried so far. I think the game is easier because I doubt I got any better. For the hardcore platfomer fan don't worry they still have you covered. On each level you can download ghost runs of the top leaderboard players to race through the levels against. While I may never make the top of the leaderboard myself it is nice to be able to see how others are so I can get better at my game.

Graphically, there is a lot more pink and sparkles this time around but I did not find that too distracting. Most of it is in the menus and load screens. The actual levels of the game are more like the first game in terms of color scheme.

The funniest part of the game to me is listening to Ms Splosion Man as you are working through the levels. She regularly quotes girl pop songs and other pop culture phrases. You do hear the same thing occasionally repeated but I did not notice too much because I was too focused on just trying not to screw up In addition to she talking the animations are fun and playful. Sometimes she will pirouette and other times she ice skates through the levels. These various keep things interesting as you play.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that there is a completely separate co-op campaign to play though as well. If you like platformers I would definitely recommend trying out Ms Splosion Man and I suspect you will be hooked before the demo is over.
