Might & Magic Clash of Heroes Hot

Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes HD is almost a pure port of the DS version. The entire concept of gameplay is match 3, vertical or horizontal. Vertical will give you an attack formation and horizontal will give you a wall. Combine this with different units for each of the 5 campaigns, 50 different artifacts, and 10 different multiplayer characters. Each race has their own specific units and artifacts, making online a great experience. Some setups are a bit overpowered, but all can be beaten.

Single Player consists of 5 campaigns, with you starting over in terms of level and money at each campaign. Each campaign is a different race, so you have different units. This makes each campaign unique and fresh. I love that I can start fresh 4 times in a game, it was always a blast. The story is there, but it was not why I played the game. Each campaign also has puzzle battles and bounty missions to complete, along with side quests. Artifacts are also fun to seek out.

After the campaign I still would love to play it through again, but I have the DS version so I just play it instead because it is more accessible. 2 vs. 2 multiplayer is also a blast to play with 3 friends. I can fine nothing wrong with this game besides the lackluster story, but I don't play games like this for their stories.

Overall:
Gameplay: 10/10: Great balance of attack and defense, really keeps you on your toes vs. humans, the CPU is usually pretty bad.
Graphic: 10/10: Very polished graphics for that type of art style.
Sound 10/10: Fits perfectly with the gameplay
Story: 6/10: Lacking, but does not take away from the game at all

All in all: A must buy for puzzle lovers like myself. Not a fan of puzzle games? Try it before you purchase.

Like the others I'm going with a 9 (and not a full 10) because of the load times. My save game is at 23 hours and 30 minutes having just finished the item to get 100% of everything completed. I would guess 1/4 of that was loading screens.

Otherwise though this game is great. I had a blast playing even with all the loading screens. It is challenging but not to the point of frustration (most of the time). With a nice leveling mechanic that increases the levels of the troops you use. I would highly recommend trying the demo!

Fantastic game. I agree that the loading times are pretty annoying at times. but the game is extremely addicting and very well polished. The multiplayer is also fun once single player is completed. Definitely, definitely worth the money if you like puzzle games like puzzle quest.

The only reason I gave it a 9 is because of the terrible load times.
I dunno why but sprite games are just terrible with loading.

Still the SP and MP and the updated graphics are very nice.

If you like puzzle games, if you enjoyed Puzzle Quest you owe it to yourself to
try this game.
