Haven't played it for ages - must dig out my Xbox Live: Unplugged disc... whiled away hours on this one when I first got my 360. Loads of extras you can download too - try the demo, and if you like it, buy the game - it's great :)

I like this game a lot, even though all you basically do is just ompimise the building order. The wacky style is great fun and helps with liking it.

If you like games where you have to manage resources to build things and sort puzzles while facing irritating bosses/contractors/customers, well, then this is likely the game for you.

The action occurs on outer space where you must build structures on a space station taking care of customer. The game is kinda fun even if the story is not that special.

You'll have to get accustomed to the controls quickly in order to be capable of keep the tasks up: the learning curve could be a bit slow at first but if you'd played sim-like games before, then you'll find no surprises/challenges here.

One thing I realize playing this game is that I need to buy a 32+ LCD TV asap. For a 29' std one, the UI and fonts were quite difficult to read.

Like a lot of gamers who I have talked to, I passed this game up while scrolling through the list of games on Xbox Live Arcade many times. It has a really strange title & just didn't sound all that interesting. After reading many reviews, I finally caved in and downloaded it. What I found is that this is a really fun SimCity-style strategy game that is a pretty nice deal for the cash you pay for it.

Outpost Kaloki X is a strategy game in which you build structures for your spacestation and try to keep all of your customers happy. There are many games like this out for the PC (any of the Tycoon games, for example) & most of them are a lot better than this game. But this is a $10 downloadable game for Live Arcade, so I wasn't expecting it to be as good as a retail title.

The game can get quite addicting once you get going. There are three different modes to play here. Unfortunately there is no playing the game over Xbox Live, but there is a lot of downloadable content. The three gameplay modes are 'Adventure' & 'War' stories and a bunch of stand alone scenarios. Both of the story modes are pretty fun, but the stories themselves are awful. The characters, dialogue, & the actually storylines are pretty lame.

The game doesn't look too bad, but it definately isn't impressive. I know this is a Live Arcade game, but I was hoping for better visuals. The audio follows suit with decent SFX and the music isn't terrible. Technically speaking, this game isn't going to "wow" you in any way.

There is a lot of content here if you really get into the game itself. In addition to the two campaign modes I mentioned, the stand alone scenarios would take you awhile to finish especially since you can get more over Xbox Live. I also really like how they distributed the achievements. A couple are going to be really hard to get, but that's how it should be. And a previous bug that involved the achievements has been fixed via a downloadable patch.

Outpost Kaloki X is a fun little strategy game that shouldn't be missed by any fan of the genre. If you are into the Tycoon-style games available on the PC, then I would give this a shot. It has one of the goofiest names I have ever seen given to a game, but that shouldn't deter you from trying it. And for the amount of content you get, it's one of the best deals that you can find on Xbox Live Arcade.

I don't really like this game, but I can see how others would enjoy it if they like strategy games. Try the demo if you're not sure if you want to get it.

I also think this is a great game for children as it should stimulate thinking and teach them about resource management in a fun, cartoony environment.

This is a great sim game that takes a while to get the hang of. I'm suprise that they fit all of this into an arcade games, as it's actually quite complex. Great fun to play, it might be too difficult for some people. Try out the demo first.

This is a funny game and is a fun "city building" style set in space. I found it pretty challenging after the first few levels, but still fun as I tried to build my space port in the right order to win.
