Worms 2: Armageddon

I like this game, I have both worm games and I just crack up over the comments the worms make. Great game play. Lots of replay value.

"Worms 2" is the sequel to "Worms", and this one does not disappoint. The graphics and sound seem to be enhanced just a bit, and the gameplay is equal if not better than the first title. The levels are again randomly generated...which adds great variety to the game so you're not playing the exact same level every time. With the new features like added weapons, enhanced sound bands, new HD levels, etc., this was an immediate buy for me.

Worms just gets more polished. This game has excellent graphics, easy controls and nice little touches eg the phrases said by the worms. Even my girlfriend liked it.

Playing the game as i write this, what can i say this game is the best worms game i have played except for the original pc worms ammergeddon but this is very close. Graphics 10/10, fun 10/10, playability 10/10 you just gotta love it. Crazey creates is the best mode ever lol. The best game just got better with online and great weapons to boot.

This game is even better than the first game! Just when you thought that things couldn't get any better. Worms 2 One ups Worms in every category.

The single player has actually been turned into a 30 mission campaign with a bonus of 5 unlockable missions as well. The missions aren't all just about killing the other team off either. They throw in some pretty interesting challenges now that make you really have to think. Your going to find yourself getting stuck on quite a few levels but if you stick it out you can make it to the end. There are a ton of new weapons to use as well including the Armageddon weapon which basically kills all of the worms on the map unless you get lucky lol.

The added even more customization options as well. The voice bank has been increased with voices such as the Movie Trailer Voice and there are more gravestones to choose from. They also add victory dances to choose from and hats to put on your worms :D. You can even change the skin tone of your worms. And you can choose what fort you have in the new fort mode.

The Multiplayer still has 4 players pitting up against each other with teams of 4 worms. You can create your own game mode or choose from a few new ones like Fort, Crazy Crates, and Rope Racing. Your still blowing the crap out of worms and its still fun.

For the achievement junkies out there, this one will take more time than the original to max. The hardest achievement is going to be Ranked Master which you have to get 17 wins in 4 different ranked match types. All the other achievements are fairly simple and beating the campaign can be a real pain in the butt but its doable.

So if you liked worms you will love worms 2! 800MS is not a waste on so many improvements to a game that a lot of people loved.

I just want to add an extra note, There is a very nasty glitch in the game that you should be aware of. It has to do something with playing the game connected to live and then playing it not connected to live. Basically when you first start the game it offers you the tutorial. If you ever open the game again after playing and it pops up saying you need the tutorial again... Turn off your system right away! If you continue playing you will lose all of your saved progress! Just load it up again and you should be fine. Look at the xbox forums for my info on that glitch.

I may be infatuated with this game because it is my first taste of a Worms game, but I love it. It is a great bargain for ten dollars and has kept me and my brother up several nights. My only complaint is the level select isn't that intuitive. I guess it is called the random level generator, but sometimes it seems like it takes forever to get a decent map.

Anyway, the single player campaign is awesome, the same xbox multiplayer is great, and I haven't played the online multiplayer, but I am sure it is good as well.

Definitely fun in my book.

I hadn't played a Worms game since the Xbox 1. This one is pretty good but the AI is a little too good for me with their aim and use of weapons. Still it's a good and fun diversion to battle some worms now and again.
