Alright Music Game0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
It is obvious this game will never compare to the likes of Rock Band/ Guitar Hero or DDR but it does its job quite nice. As with most music games you have to try to press the button when it passes over the note thingy. It is a very simple game and it only has 4 songs in it. There isn't much more to say about it. If you want a cheap rhythm/music game then this is an alright one. Platformer

This really isn't a bad game it is just missing some things. The graphics aren't too great but one of the bigger problems is it has no music. Just sound effects and nothing else for sound. The general gameplay is pretty fun though. You have to bring back this little ball things (forgot name) to a portal. You have a weapon to shoot at enemies and to destroy blocks. You can also use thrusters to get to higher places but they can overheat and you won't be able to use anything. The game isn't bad but it just isn't my thing. Racing & Flying

Monaco 360 is a lot like classic racers and is kinda fun if you are into that. It controls decently enough but the problems arise in the maps and other cars. Although the road changes a little bit the only warning you get is a little red box but it doesn't help much. You have no idea what it will change to causing you to easily lose speed. The biggest problem is if you touch any of the other cars you crash. It is almost impossible to drive in small areas because you can't avoid them. Even harder in a dark small area though. The game is cheap and should only be bought if you really like the genre. Platformer
Cool style0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
I don't understand how anyone could find the graphical style i this game bad. (Looks down one review) The graphical style is one of the best things about the game. It has its own unique feel to it. Onto the gameplay now. You control a character named Art your cool is to color the blocks on the map to reach the goal. You bounce around the level and hit the blocks to count them. Some blocks have to be hit more then once to go away. There are 3 types of bounces. A high bounce by using A, a low bounce by using X, and a normal bounce by doing nothing. The game is relativily straight forward and fun. Worth a buy for the points. Action & Adventure

In this game you control a little robot/UAV guy. Basically you go around a little city and fight other UAVs. You can shoot both horizontally and vertically allowing you to attack from above and in front of you. The problem is the game is kinda slow and there isn't too much real action going on. The graphics are also quite simple. Action & Adventure
It's Snake0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Well would else would you expect. I love snake so I figured I would try this out. It basically plays the same and the controls are tight and react fast. My biggest problem with the game is the ugly backgrounds they have. They look dumb and out of place. Nothing much is changed but there is a replay system thing when you die. You can control the snake with both the Analogue stick, and ABYX buttons. I would have preferred the classic snake look but you can't get it all. Shooter

As far as I can tell this game requires 2 people to play the game. Unless you want to control the the other dish at the same time the game will end pretty quickly because the other dish will get sucked into the drain. Anyways about the actual game now. To control your dish you use the analogue stick. Tilt it left and right to turn and forward and back for thrust. The A button shoots your weapon. It is confusing to tell exactly what to do in the game. I didn't enjoy the game very much at all. Sports & Recreation

I don't really see the point of this game being on XNA. It seems better suited for an online flash game site. It is relatively simple game with nice graphics. The problem is there isn't much to do in the game. There is only one game mode to play and it is a simple score gain mode. The game is cheap though so you can't complain too much. Although with more things to do this game could be plenty more fun. Action & Adventure

When I read the description for this game on the XNA dev pages my interest was immediately perked. The problem with playing it is it is pretty much impossible on a regular sound system. (As others have already said.) On my regular TV I was just running around for 3 minutes before I gave up from not being able to tell what the hell i was doing. This is definitely a niche game for people with surround systems. Hopefully someone out there is actually enjoying this. Shooter
One of the Best XBLA Games0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
I mainly bought this game because off the glowing reviews from this site. I was not disappointed at all by the game after playing it for a while. There are 6 varied game modes that are all pretty distinct from each other. It almost seems like a weird remake of asteroids with vivid colors and more enemies. It has local multiplayer but it sadly doesn't have any multiplayer over Xbox Live. All in all the game should last you a while and is fun to come back and play ever once in a while. You won't regret purchasing this excellent game. Shooter

I found Rez HD to be like no other game I really have played before. While it isn't mind blowing or anything it is pretty cool. The game is like a linear shooter with music elements. When you shot things they make little sounds and such. To shoot you just hold A and put your cursor over your enemies then let go. Pretty simple game with cool boss fights. It is a Remake of a Dreamcast game but I have never played it so it was an entirely new experience. Right now it is on sale so it is a good time to buy. Music

I found this game to be pretty fun. It is essentially like Dance Dance Revolution without the whole dance pad thing. My biggest gripe with the game is there is really no songs I like. This might be a little bit of a biased review since I am not very good at the game. IF you like music and rhythm games though you should like this one. Shooter
Like it but dont love it0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
TO me the game is kinda average-ish. Many of my friends told me the game is awesome and what not so I picked it up. It is like doom in a way but in my opinion isn't as fun. Duke Nukem plays like a modern FPS almost you run around the level and kill everything you can aim in all directions unlike doom. The best thing about the game is the unique weapons and little one liners that are thrown in. The new additions are the co-op mode which is fun with up to 8 players although I haven't had more then 5 people in a game. There is also the standard dukematch added for multiplayer also like doom you play on the single player maps so there are over 40 maps. The final and best new thing is the rewind feature. Anytime you die you can just rewind the game a bit to the point you want to play from. It is a great idea and I hope to see it in more games. All in all this is a great game if you love classic shooters or just plain blowing shit up. Tone other little bonus is you can watch and save replays for your friends to watch much like on halo 3. Classic Button Masher0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
This is one of my favorite old XBLA games. The game consists of these events 100m sprint, hurdles, javelin throw, hammer throw, (forgot real name) long jump, and the dreaded high jump. You never use more then 3 buttons the whole game and there are different control schemes too. You can either go with button mashing or stick waggling. Either way is fun. The online portion works pretty well especially with a friend. I recommend this game to anyone who loves these types of games. Hopefully they release the sequel too. Family
Horrible0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
I thought the game could be good but I was dead wrong. They should really be paying you to play the game based on how bad it is. The biggest problem is that the controls for the vision cam just does not work. It may take a few minutes to just to get your ball to move at all and it is even harder to finish a level. To be honest I didn't even finish the first level based on how hard it was to move and even worse to turn. There are a few extra games to play but nothing to write home about. Racing
Fun but Frustrating0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
This is one of my favortie arcade games. It is very simple you are a marble and you have to get to the end of the level. Sometimes you may also have to collect gems but others you just get from point A to point B. In the first few levels everything is very easy until you get into the later levels of intermediate and onto expert level. The game never loses its fun and you can even take it online if you would like to. One small tidbit I have to add is that you can also change your marbles look a little also. All in all this is one of the best arcade games out right now and it is now 400 points. Coin-Op Classics
Classic but Meh0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Contra is notorious for its difficulty and most can't beat it without the 30 man cheat. Sadly the cheat isn't included in the game as far as I know. This has online co-op but it is usually laggy if you can even find a game. The way the game never fits the screen the whole way is kinda annoying but you get over it eventually. All in all the game is alright but it is better to stick to the NES version. Card and Board
Fun Lounge Game0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
As many reviewers before me have said the game is great to play when you just want to chill out. The game is exactly like the card game and you can even set your own house rules so you can play the way you want to play. I would have to say the game doesn't have much fun unless you play it online. Mostly I say this because it is much funner to play with real people with a game like this. There is even vision cam support but sometimes you see some things that can't be unseen with it although you can turn off the camera anyway so no big deal. Shooter
Classic Shooter0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Doom is a great game and will provide hours of entertainment. There is no looking up or down in the game so gameplay is relatively simple. There is a bunch of weapons to use and tons of demons to kill. Multiplayer includes co-op and regular deathmatch after you finish the single player campaign. Either way the game is a classic and you should own it regardless especially now that the price is only 400 points. Action
What Bomberman Act Zero Should Have Been0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
This is exactly what was needed for the arcade. A classic bomberman type game. The premise is simple for the regular game the point is to try to blow up the other players with your bombs. There are little blocks in the way at the start that may contain power ups helping you destroy your opponent. The other game mode is paint bomb where you have to have the most tiles colored to win by placing bombs down. There is another game mode but I forget what it is called. Almost every map has something different about it besides the classic map. For example the space level has transporters that send you around the map and the desert level having quick sand. The game is fun online and offline as long as you have someone to play with and you can even take a guest online with you. It also offers tons of customization options to your character. In conclusion this is a great game and it is way better than the full retail bomberman. Action
Fast Paced Fun0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
I have to get this out of the way first. Many people are complaining of the game being too hard and I find this to be BS. It is pretty simple you try not to get hit by rolling under bullets, ducking, digging, or jumping. The game is fast paced and very challenging at times. The art style is charming and their is tons of humor in the game. The bosses are probably the best things about the game. They are very creative and fun to beat. Many mini games are provided with the game adding more playtime. All in the game is worth the money and it even provides you the alien hominid in "Castle Crasher." Shooter
Free and good1 of 1 people found the following review helpful
When this first came out I thought it would be like as bad totem ball but the game is awesome. When compared to other free games alone the game is great but it stands on its on anyway. It is a top down shooter with 4 player co-op. It has power-ups and bosses on about 5 of the 6 levels. The cool thing about co-op is that you can combine your ships together to make a super ship type of thing. 1 ship drives and shoots like regular while the other 3 ships have free aim. Also when you are connected to other ships your power ups increase in strength. The game is short but fun while it lasts and replaying on insane mode is fun too. The game is great and I would easily pay 800 points to buy it. Action
Fun and worth it1 of 1 people found the following review helpful
Many people complained about the price of this game being too high but after buying the game I realized how much fun it was. It is pretty much like a classic beat'em up with RPG elements in it. The controls are pretty simple and fit the game. All the different characters, animal orbs, and weapons make for tons of re-playability. Right now the game is having online problems but I know that will be fixed eentually but the single player alone deserves a 10. The game also has local co-op play for now too so online isn't exactly needed.
