Pretty fun scrabblish word game but man the color scheme is bad.

I tried PowerUp Forever and it is ok. but nothing great. Has a Geometry Wars feel but seemed a bit slower to me. Nothing really special to set it apart from the other two stick shooters on XBLA.

With the v1.1 update this game is well worth the cost. Finally Euchre on Xbox Live!

I'm a big fan of Tower Defense games. Maybe even slightly addicted to them. Tower Revolution is a pretty fun one. The graphics are not great, but tower defense games are not about graphics. They are about strategy, and Tower Revolution gives you lots of strategic options. Each tower type can be upgraded a multiple different ways and there is the use of magic and walls. I can see a lot of replay value as I try to prefect my strategies. My only big complaint is that there is no option to restart a level other than to quit out and then start the level again. Overall a nice simple tower defense game with good replay value.

I like the bonus gold cards that give you an extra bonus if you win the hands. The to play up to 4 players is nice.

A couple minor frustrations:
1 - You can't speed up or slow down the animation speed
2 - There are only a few increments of money you can bet. $1, $5, $10, etc but no way to do like $15 or other ammounts.

Like I said these are minor things. Overall a fun 4 player blackjack game. Great for playing with a few friends.

Visually this game is nice and clean and bright, but the controls are pretty frustrating for me. You press can only control the speed of the ship and then change the angle the plain is flying by pushing left or right, but the controls are always related to the nose of the ship and not the angle it is currently flying. So, when flying left/upside-down the controls are basically backwards from when you're going right. I tried for a while to get the hang of it but it just got to frustrating and I gave up.

If you can get a hang for the controls the game has potential to be fun.

It is nice to play with HD graphics, but the VBAS doesn't work well for me. I think I'm so bad that the scale doesn't go low enough for me. Still fun once you get use to anchor shots.

Classic game is still fun to play.
The graphics looks great.
The Remixed mode is lame.
Even with their "improved" net code the online can be laggy, but not too bad most of the time.

I tried the trial 4 times trying to figure this out and I just don't get what the cursor on screen does. Other than that is is a pretty simple game. You pick if you want your unites to attack, defend, or harvest and then they go out an do that automatically. The description says it is a "simple RTS", but they should have emphasized SIMPLE a lot more.

The graphical style drives me crazy. I could ignore it for a little bit and the game play was not bad, but after a little while I could not take it any more and had to stop playing.

I'm a puzzle game fan and this one quickly got me hooked. I really like how the pace of the game was quick, but not so fast I was falling behind. All of the game modes are fun and keep you on your toes.

I'm generally not a fan of games where one thumb stick controls movement and the other controls shooting, but this was pretty fun. If you're a fan of Geometry Wars style games this is a great one you really should try. The bonus weapons really help players like me who otherwise are not very good and I think a expert player would be unstoppable with them.

The game itself has a few little glitches here and there but nothing to really ruin your chance at that perfect shot.

Where it really shines is in the coarse editor. It is pretty strait forward to make your own courses and then play them. A great feature!

Games like this make me excited for future XNA games. It is really well made and could easily be on XBLA. It is worth checking out even if you're not a fan of shooters. If you are a shooter enthusiast then it should be on your "Must Play" list. Still, there are a lot of games of this style already available.

I heard this game described an a "Chillaxin" (Chilling/Relaxing) city building simulation. That fits it pretty well because it is really mellow and fun. You tell your Kefling villagers what to do as well as do some work yourself. There is no time limit, no enemies, and no destructive forces. Just you building a town at your won pace.

The Avatar support is a nice touch, and the 4 player co-op over Live is a lot of fun. You all can work together as much or as little as you want and just hang out talking with each other as you work towards building a castle for your Keflings friends.

I'd highly recommend trying everyone try this out. The laid back pace is great fun.

I like puzzle games, but this one did not hold my attention for more than a few minutes. About 6 levels in I was already bored with it. If you really like puzzle games give it a try, but it was not for me.

I like the idea of playing a game based solely on sound, but after trying it for a while I just could not get use to it. I think I might have been walking around my victims in circles or something because I never found anyone to attack.

I'm a big fan of tower defense style games, but this one is pretty easy. There are only 9 spots to build towers and a only a few tower types to choose from. I had little trouble with it.

I like the level of depth in Lines. You can just take out quick little lines and level up quickly or you can build really long lines with some strategy and luck and get really high scores.

It is a good example of a game that is simple to play but hard to master.

I decided to check out DUOtrix today despite the crazy backgrounds in the screenshots. While I was playing I did not even notice the background because I was focusing on the actual game play. The game plays a little like Dr Mario but from both the top and bottom at the same time. It is pretty challenging, but in a fun way.

The option to listen to my own music instead of the in game stuff was nice because the in game music got a bit repetitive.

I really enjoy rhythm games and this one is not bad. I like that they give you the option for using a controller or a guitar. I played a little with both and found I did better with a guitar controller.

The game play itself if simple and strait forward. It rewards you for hitting the notes with perfect timing and at the end of the song tells you how many notes were close, missed, perfect, etc.

There is absolutely no help of how to play info in the game so if you don't know what you're doing you'll have to figure it out on your own.

One thing that would be really cool is if there were leaderboards for the different songs so you can see how your score compares to everyone else who has done it. There are no star ratings like Rock Band or Guitar Hero so at the end of the song there is no way to really tell how good you did since there is also no leaderboard.

Still for the price it is a fun little rhythm game. Probably would be good for kids who can't quite handle Rock Band or Guitar Hero yet.

The breakout style game play is really fun and can be played without even paying attention to the cards, but once you get the hand of trying to build poker hands and add that level of strategy to playing it is a real blast. I'm a big fan of breakout and this is one of the best breakout type games I've played in a long time.

My only complaint is that the power-up coins are so small it is really hard to tell what they are. You just end up grabbing them all and hoping for the best.

I played Portal originally as part of The Orange Box. It was Game of the Year last year in my opinion. The gameplay is so innovative that even though it is only 3 or 4 hours long I would probably have paid $40 just to get own it.

Having it on XBLA now is great because all my friends who never got The Orange Box can now play Portal for $15. Plus, the XBLA version has 14 of new levels.

This is a must buy for any Xbox 360 owner.

I really like how this game is easy to play, but takes a while to get some really solid strategies worked out. I'm really enjoying the game so far and look forward to playing it a lot more.

The graphics are pretty good. Maybe not the best I've seen on XBLA, but still really good.

The map editor makes this game worth every penny. It is very well made and allows users to make pretty much any map style they want and then play those maps with their friends (or enemies).

This is a little like Pac-Man and Bomberman combined together, take out all the good stuff, and leave only the annoying and frustrating parts. Don't waste your $5.

I was hoping this game would be great fun, but it is not. With Pirates, Ninjas, Zombies, and Robots it should have been epic, but instead it is pretty mediocre.

I like the co-op addition, and replaying a classic shooter is always fun after about 30 minutes I have to stop because the old school graphics start to bug me.

I thought it was pretty fun but a real bowling game would have been better.

Spades is fun, but camera support would have been nice.

Pac-man is fun, but unless you;re a huge fan you might as well play some of the free version you can find online.

The game starts off fun and challenging, but I very quickly got very frustrated. If you are not perfect going through the level you have to start over too often.

I played for few days and it is fun, but when I played against other playrs I got schooled every time. It has a steep learning curve to go from ok to great.

Don't get me wrong, Gin Rummy works fine and gives you some options to play Gin Runny over Live...even using the Vision Cam. But at the end of the day it is still just another card game.

For such a highly anticipated game I was a bit underwhelmed. Small Arms is fun, but with all the hype leading up to it I expected more. Yes, it is fun and for $5 I'd definitely recommend it, but it was made out to be the greatest Arcade game and it is not.

If you're into chess you can play it over Live now. But if you're not don't bother downloading. There are some really cool features, but for $10 I could go buy a couple coipes if the actual board game.

It is a pretty fun game. Not the best racer I've ever played, but still fun.

A great game. If you've never played it you really should. If you have played it there is no real reason to buy it again.

This is a blast to play, but there is nothing new or special about the XBLA port of it IMO.

Nice to get some achievements on a great classic arcade game.

While not as bad as Yaris this one is still pretty lousy. Even for a party game it is pretty weak.

I love the concept and the graphical style, but the games themselves are very hard to win any gold at. I really like the how this ties in with Fable 2 and I can transfer my gold over, but I'd have to win some first.

The spinner game is a complete waste of time. I've not won anything significant there yet. Hitting the A button over and over is just not that fun to me.

Fortune's Tower is a fun idea for a game, but I find myself loosing pretty much every time.

Keystone is by far my favorite of the three. I can pretty consistently win 20 or 25% more than a bet. So, no big wins, but no big losses either. I'm slowly building a nice amoung of gold by making "safe" bets.

I like the new style of Galaga Legions. It takes a little getting use to placing the satellites, but once you get the hang of it things progress very nicely. I'm not a huge fan of the trippy graphical style, but I've seen much worse. I'm looking forward to seeing if I can do better than my friends at it.

If you liked Sonic before here it is for you again, but the graphics were not looking that great on my tv.

This is a funny game and is a fun "city building" style set in space. I found it pretty challenging after the first few levels, but still fun as I tried to build my space port in the right order to win.

Undertow has some really nice graphics, but the actual game is not really that fun. I got it when they were giving it away free and played it for a while, but it is not as fun as the graphics are pretty.

Nice updated graphics for a classic game. It is still fun to play and the co-op is pretty fun.
